As storytellers who find inspiration in history, world events, and fact-based research, we love creating characters, developing scripts, and designing game pathways that can help children & adults build knowledge as they develop build their literacy skills. We have worked with entertainment companies and international non-profits to create narratives on subjects ranging from STEM careers and historical investigations to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, pregnancy in Liberia and Bangladesh, and life skills.
AUTHOR HAND-HOLDER
We have facilitated and supported negotiation of hundreds of contracts between authors or literary agents and educational publishers. Between that and our experience working with authors and educational publishers on commissioned picture books (fiction and non-fiction), we are launching a new service in 2025. If you are an author—including a self-published or first-time author—we can review your pitches, manuscripts, or contracts and guide you on navigating the publishing, school, and library industries. We have also worked with authors, including Marina Budhos and Katherine Applegate, to help them create discussion guides for their novels.
PODCAST CONSULTANCY
Whether you are seeking coaching, advisory support, or a creative partner to develop a podcast, we can help. We lean on our experience as independent producers of a Webby Award-nominated podcast to guide clients through the audio space. We can also provide guidance on licensing your content and building out your audio IP to other product areas. We have supported all kinds of creators–different ages and different needs–through our podcasting summer camps for children and online course for educators.
